The Beecroft Club has gone ahead in leaps and bounds over the last couple of years – in no small measure due to Friday dining with Longhorn BBQ and chef Brad.
Thanks to everyone who has come to dinner at The Beecroft Club.
The comment I hear most often is
‘Fabulous Food and great service’
Sadly Brad is leaving us, due to work commitments. We will miss him and can’t thank him enough for launching our Friday dining.
New beginnings in the bistro
Watch this space. We are considering a range of exciting opportunities for Friday dining.
If you would like to throw your hat in the ring – or know someone who should be running a bistro for us, please let us know.

Nothing beats lawn bowls for fun and friends
Could bowling be your next big thing? Maybe you have just retired, or are just looking around for a new activity. Bowls is a sport that will challenge you and keep you fit. You have options for just social play or high level competition.
Head on down to The Beecroft Club for a drink.
- The bar is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 4 pm and on Thursdays from around 6 pm and Sundays from 3 pm.
- Just ask the staff and you can have a roll while you’re there. Barefoot and beer – what could be better?
What do you do on Sundays?
You don’t have to be a bowler to come down on Sunday. The bar is open from 3 pm. Sunday is also our main Barefoot Bowls day of the week. A great way for friends and family to hang out together
Well done ladies!
2020 Pennant season conclusion. The season for our girls finished on an absolute high. They beat North Ryde RSL, Merryl’s team had an 18 all draw and Jan’s team won 16-13. North Ryde had been undefeated the whole season. Last Thursday in horrendous conditions heavy rain, flooded greens and an opposition who wanted to finish the season on Thursday they finally had to stop after 18 ends for both teams and we were behind in both games. But today our girls came out all guns blazing and showed them you don’t mess with Beecroft.
Ladies we are very proud of you well done indeed. The final tally was North Ryde 22 ½, Beecroft 15 ½, Carlingford 11 ½, and Gladesville 10 ½.
More Pennant news
A whole new era for NSW Pennants. Beecroft has been able to enter three teams, thanks to the enthusiastic uptake by our ladies, playing alongside the men in the Saturday competition. We’ve had a slow start to the season. with some excellent individual rink results and some very close numbers on the big board. All in all an encouraging start to build on for the remaining games. C. Davis, President.
