for the sport of bowls, with the introduction of a Bowls Australia-backed Jack Attack / Barefoot Bowls initiative.

Jack Attack is designed to increase social participation in the sport of bowls, by filling the current gap in the market between competitive play and barefoot bowls. It is a social, fast-paced format that appeals to people wanting a short, sharp game with more structured competition than barefoot bowls.
